Facilities
Sargento operates four separate manufacturing and production facilities within the state of Wisconsin, one in South Dakota and another in Washington State. Each contributes a variety of unique capabilities, services and benefits to our customers.
Plymouth, Wis.:
Plymouth, Wis., is home to Sargento headquarters and also houses our main distribution center.
Kiel, Wis.:
In Kiel, Wis., our state-of-the-art USDA meat approved facility produces prepared foods and snacks.
Hilbert, Wis.:
In Hilbert, Wis., we operate a plant with production space focused on cheese and sauce manufacturing.
Elkhart Lake, Wis.:
Our Elkhart Lake, Wis., facility houses the Sargento Research and Development and Engineering departments. Elkhart Lake includes both product development and pilot–scale production capabilities. Within this facility, you have access to the following:
- Dairy, culinary and food science professionals
- Category managers responsible for each product line
- Packaging, equipment and process engineers
- Pilot lab operations
Bellingham, Wash., & North Sioux City, S.D.:
Sargento Portionables® products are produced in these two facilities. Our commitment to quality is demonstrated in every phase of operations in the manufacturing plants. Not only do we have certified USDA meat and poultry facilities, but we also have a Superior rating from the AIB (American Institute of Baking) Food Safety Division.
