Duets®

The new Sargento Duets® portion-control packaging system reduces material and handling costs, while increasing efficiency. The Duets® packaging solution gives customers the unique option to fill two packets simultaneously with products that cannot normally be comingled - cheese, meat, dried fruit, grains and more. Pack a pair of ingredients with Duets®, and you'll get flexibility and economy too!


Packaging capabilities:

  • Produces a single pouch with two twin, portion-control compartments
  • Enables two filling heads to combine products that cannot be comingled

Portion-control package configurations/specifications:

  • Option 1 (outside measurement):
  • 3 3/4" (95 mm) wide
  • 7 1/2" (190 mm) wide if using both sides
  • Option 2 (outside measurement):
  • 5 1/8" (130 mm) wide
  • 10 1/4" (260 mm) wide
  • Perforated or two separate packages

Fill & Capacity:

  • Gas flushed/hermetically sealed
  • Height of the pouches is dictated by the fill amount
  • Ability to run 2 different size fillings
